Owner of vineyards in Champagne since 1763, the family Cattier started in 1920 to elaborate and distribute his Champagne under Cattier brand. The House remains an independant and familial company. The Champagne Cattier is owner of 18 hectares classified "Premiers Crus" and located in the famous terroirs of "Montagne de Reims". The vineyard also includes the prestigious "Clos du moulin" (2.20 hectares), one of the very rare Clos existing in Champagne The cellars of the house are one of the deepest in Champagne (30 meters - 119 stairs). Their architecture include the 3 existing shapes : Renaissance, Roman, Gothic. The house employs 18 people for a turnover of about 30 Million French Francs. The sales reach approximatly 450000 bottles per year with 50% exported in around 50 countries. Visit the Cattier website. |
