Turn Four
This Napa Valley Cabernet opens with intense aromas of black fruit, bright cherry, & minerals. Background notes of cedar, sage and violets add to the complexity of the wine. On the palate the wine has good weight, with flavors of dark cherry, cocoa, and plums. The tannins are velvety and approachable, leading to a long, elegant, fruit driven finish.
Wine Enthusiast
A good Cab, chockful of grilled blackberry, cassis, cocoa and sweet smoky oak flavors that finish rich and spicy. Has some real elegance, at an affordable price.
Score: 87. —Steve Heimoff, December 31, 2009.Wine Spectator
Rich and layered, with complex anise, black cherry, currant and mineral notes that are full-bodied, ending with a mix of herb and tobacco. The second label of Bennett Lane. Drink now through 2016.
